Leprechaun's Secret — Bonus Features

Leprechaun's Secret runs three Bonus Game modes off colour-coded coins — Double Reels, Multiplier and Extra Re-Spin — plus a Mini-to-Grand jackpot ladder. Here's how each one pays.

How Each Feature Pays

Trigger, mechanics, published values and where each one is worth your money — with anything Zillion Games does not publish marked as such rather than guessed at. New to the reels? Start with the Leprechaun's Secret how-to-play guide.

Random Wild

How to Trigger

Fires at random during base-game spins. No symbol combination sets it off and there is nothing to aim for.

What Happens

Two or more Wilds are dropped onto a single reel. Because Wilds substitute for every symbol except the Bonus coins, a reel full of them turns a near miss into a paid line across the 25 paylines. It is the one base-game feature that can rescue an otherwise dead spin.

Values

No multiplier attached. Value comes purely from the extra substitutions.

Variants

Wilds are restricted to reels 2, 3, 4 and 5 in normal play, so reel 1 always has to pay for itself.

Strategy

Nothing to play here. It matters mainly because it lifts the base game in a slot Zillion rates High volatility, where dry stretches are the default.

Double Reels

How to Trigger

One or more red Bonus symbols can open a Bonus Game running the Double Reels feature.

What Happens

A second playing field appears alongside the first. At the start of the round your Bonus symbols are duplicated onto it, and from then on Bonus symbols are displayed randomly across both fields. The important detail is that each field keeps its own re-spin counter and triggers the Multiplier Feature on its own — so one board can still be running while the other has already run dry.

Values

No multiplier of its own. Its value is the second field, which doubles the number of Bonus symbol positions in play.

Variants

This is one of three Bonus Game modes. Blue Bonus symbols open the Extra Re-Spin version instead and green open the Multiplier version.

Strategy

Two independent counters means the round tends to run longer than a single-board hold-and-win, which is where the extra value sits. You cannot pick which colour lands, so there is nothing to steer.

Multiplier Feature

How to Trigger

One or more green Bonus symbols can open a Bonus Game running the Multiplier feature. Inside the round it then fires at random.

What Happens

Each time it triggers, one or more random Bonus symbols are handed a multiplier of x2, x3 or x5. If the same Bonus symbol picks one up a second time the two values are multiplied together, not added — so an x5 landing twice on the same coin is worth x25 on that coin. Nothing is paid as it happens: every multiplier is applied to the Bonus symbol values at the end of the Bonus Game.

Values

x2, x3 or x5 per trigger, multiplied together on repeat hits. Zillion does not publish how often the feature fires or how the three values are weighted.

Variants

With Double Reels running, the Multiplier Feature is triggered independently on each of the two playing fields.

Strategy

Because multipliers stack multiplicatively on a single symbol, the outlier rounds are the ones where the same high-value coin keeps getting picked. That is entirely down to the RNG.

Extra Re-Spin

How to Trigger

One or more blue Bonus symbols can open a Bonus Game running the Extra Re-Spin feature.

What Happens

The re-spin counter changes from 3 to 4. More useful than it sounds: every new Bonus symbol that lands restores the counter to 4 rather than 3, so each fresh coin buys you a full extra spin compared with the standard round. Over a long Bonus Game that difference compounds.

Values

No multiplier. The gain is in round length, which means more chances for Bonus symbols and jackpot symbols to land.

Variants

One of the three Bonus Game modes, alongside the red Double Reels and green Multiplier versions.

Strategy

A longer round is worth most in the game with the highest jackpot ceiling, and here that means more shots at reaching 14 collected Bonus symbols. There is still no way to choose which colour turns up.

Mini to Grand Jackpots

How to Trigger

Mini, Minor and Major Bonus symbols appear at random during the Bonus Game. The Grand needs 14 Bonus symbols collected first.

What Happens

The three lower tiers arrive as their own Bonus symbols and simply award the matching jackpot when they land. The Grand works differently: collect 14 Bonus symbols during the round and the final one gives you a chance to trigger it. Zillion's own game page words that as collecting 15 symbols with the last being the Grand — same fifteen-position board, same outcome.

Values

Jackpot cash values are Not published. The only figure Zillion states is the game's 3,000x maximum win, which the Grand sits behind.

Variants

Bonus Buy is available. On the studio demo server the price is 70x your bet; availability and pricing at individual casinos vary and some regulated markets block feature buys outright.

Strategy

The realistic outcomes are Mini and Minor. Fourteen collected Bonus symbols on a 15-position board is a tall order in any hold-and-win, and Zillion publishes nothing about how often it happens — so treat the 3,000x as a ceiling rather than a target.
